Crafted in tribute to the fleeting bloom of spring, Trillium is a hand-bound journal inspired by a moment that took my breath away.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of building a cabin and living off the land. I’d heard for years that the trillium was a protected flower, some species nearly lost in parts of Canada, and I’d always imagined how special it would be to see them in the wild. When I finally moved out here, stepped onto the piece of land I now call home, I was met with a forest floor blanketed in white trilliums and around certain turns in the forest, maroon ones. That moment stayed with me, and this journal is my way of preserving it.

Each Trillium  journal is hand-bound in crimson archival grade goat leather. Only three exist, one for each petal, each leaf, each sepal of this rare and symbolic flower.

• 400 pages of 70lb smooth writing paper
• Handmade endpapers, block printed with a hand carved trillium stamp
• Green goat leather headbands in a medieval style
• Brass stamps, hand-drawn and hand-carved
• Sturdy book board core for lasting durability and tied together with local twine

The trillium is the official flower of Ontario and Ohio and can take up to ten years to bloom. It is a symbol of patience, and resilience. This journal is a vessel to hold your most vulnerable thoughts, ideas, feelings, and moments.
